Kathleen Bailey, Co-Head Coach 12U Storm

Kathleen Bailey is a former Hurricane Elite player entering her first year coaching full time. While it's her first year coaching full time, Coach KB has spent the previous four years helping out various Hurricanes teams at the 12u, 14u, and 16u levels. KB is a Bayport native, where she spent four years on the varsity BBP softball team and was salutatorian of the Bayport-Blue Point class of 2013 . While at Bayport she earned all-division and all-county honors, and was named team MVP and team captain her junior and senior years. KB attended college at Bridgewater State University where she was a four year member of the varsity softball team. She graduated from BSU summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. While at BSU she was a member of the athletic honors society and a recipient of the presidential scholarship award. KB is currently in her last year of graduate school for physical therapy at Stony Brook University where she will earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in June 2020.
