Brian or Coach "B" started his coaching career in 2006 with the Long Island Silver Bullets 12U as an assistant coach. In 2008 helped the team secure the fundamentals to win the NJBL 14U league as a 12U team. In 2009, Brian was the assistant coach for the Silver Bullets team that placed second in the 12U division at Cooperstown in both the New York against the country tournament and Hall of Fame tournaments

In 2009, Brian joined the Long Island Hurricanes as an assistant coach. In his three seasons here at the 14U & 16U levels he has a combined record is 216 - 55 - 6 (.780 win pct). His team recorded (3) Tourney Championships, (1) Cooperstown Championship & Runner up, (3) undefeated League Seasons & Championships, (3) runner up tourney finshes and (8) top five finishes. As assistant coach for the  2013 16U Select  team they qualified and attended the USSSA road to Orlando Nationals where the team placed 17^th out of 56 teams

Brian resides in Port Jefferson with his wife Cindy and his two children Courtney and Shannon. He is a certified ASA Aces level 1 softball coach. His daughters are also very involved in softball. Courtney is a starting freshman for Emerson College in Boston MA. Shannon is a second baseman for the L.I. Hurricanes 18U Elite team and a starter for Port Jefferson High Varsity Softball team.
